Ingrid Butenschon is a self-taught artist and has always had an interest in art. She has only started to pursue her own artistic endeavors after retiring.  Favorite mediums are acrylics, pastels and coloured pencils. Recently, mixed media has been a new focus combined with a more relaxed way of painting, with emphasis on bolder, vibrant colours. Animals are a favorite subject matter, however she loves to tackle a variety of subjects including landscapes, flora, birds and much more!
